Smart Toll Station Project

Smart Engineering & Business Solution

A Smart Toll Station in Egypt is a system that uses advanced technologies such as Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to facilitate seamless and efficient traffic flow on highways and bridges. It is equipped with various sensors and cameras to automatically detect and classify vehicles, calculate toll fees, and collect payments through various digital payment methods. Additionally, a Smart Toll Station can provide real-time traffic information and automated incident management to enhance safety and reduce congestion. Its main goal is to improve transportation infrastructure, increase revenue generation, and reduce traffic delays and environmental impact.

Smart Toll Station works by a hybrid system (solar and small scale wind turbine) is a renewable energy system that combines the benefits of solar and wind power to generate electricity. The solar panels and wind turbine are installed together and work in tandem to produce electricity throughout the day and night.

During the day, when the sun is shining, the solar panels generate electricity from the sunlight. At the same time, the wind turbine is also spinning and generating electricity from the wind. During the night, when there is no sunlight, the wind turbine continues to generate electricity from the wind.
